Mike and I will be moving on April 1st, we will be heading to Sedona to spend 2 weeks then onto Oak Creek for another 2 weeks.  After that we go to Rockport State park in Utah to work from May 16th to Sept 10th as camp hosts.  This one will be different as we only have to put in 20 hours a week as a couple and hardly any work to do, we want to save money so we can head to Texas next winter, so decided to kill 2 birds with one stone, by work camping here we save and still see our granddaughter.

It is right on the man made reservoir in the State park 30 minutes from Park City UT.  and about 1 hour from Salt Lake.  It is 3 hours to Michael's our son, so we will be able to visit our granddaughter while in Utah.  We are hoping to have Brooke come stay with us a couple of days while we are at the park.  I know this is not exactly what we had in mind as we would love to have lots of activities to do but this puts us near our kid.

So off we go to Utah.  If anyone of you are in the area stop by the camp site will be in the Jacob camp area in Rockport State Park, 30 amps with septic and water.  Will have pictures when we get there.  As each of you start you way north safe travels and keep the wind at your back.

Love
Carol

Koko left us for her new home on February 15th, Pam was thrilled

I was not I cried, Koko was such a wonderful dog and easy to train, I think she knew something was up as she just wanted me to hold her this day and she did everything we asked of her.  I will miss her so much, but Mike just did not want another dog.  I tried giving Mike away but no one wanted him.  I know she has a good home Pam has emailed me and says she is doing great which makes me feel better.  At least I know some day I may be able to see her again. Enjoy your new home KOKO mommy loves you!!

Just 60 days and we start traveling again.  Koko goes to her new home on the 15th, boy will I miss her, she is easy to train and a has a wonderful personality and loves people. We are enjoying our stay here at De Anza still putting on the Texas Holdem games and playing corn toss.  We had 12 players tonight

As you can see Mike is in great spirits but that changed as he was out in 6th place, I had a bad night could not get a good hand and of course when I did Rich would call and had a much better hand, and took me out (I was the first one out tonight) he went on to win first place. Phyllis won 2nd place again look at that smile, you can see she really did enjoy herself!  Rich who is one of the Camp Host won 3rd   Rich also put together selling of the squares for the Super Bowl, here he is selling those little blocks I still don't understand the method but put my $2 in the betting.  On Sunday everyone got together and watched the game, I worked so did not go, by the time the last quarter was on you could hear the fans all over the park, seems most of them were for the Giants.  Rich won the pool and everyone had fun.  The owners here Larry and Suzanne have yet to have the opportunity to join us for the fun and games, but I will continue to keep them going and hope to see them join in soon.  We will be on the road starting April 15th and will have new and exciting things too see and talk about.  Next week I will be going to the Tubac Art Festival and hope to bring you pictures of the area.  If you have never been to the area, this is an artist town and expensive but boy do they have great art, jewelry and southwest crafts.

Until next week Love Carol
