You know Murphy's law what can go wrong REALLY
will go wrong, we set up the rig at St. David then someone
came around to tell us there were ants in the area and to make sure
we put the Ajax, Vaseline etc around the rig, OK so we moved into a
new site, then using 4 cans of the stuff, of course it had to have
been one of the hottest days to move and pour all of that Ajax,
around 104 and we really wanted to cool off first but I do not want
ants. We are then set up for about 4 days when we wake
up to Ants all over the kitchen and starting to run along the top of
the inside living room slide out. I run to the office and get
there ant spray and Mike gets mad and decide we are moving forget
the ants lets get the he...out of here. I put all away that we don't want moving when he moves the rig and drive down to Benson, Valley Vista is not open till Oct. 1st and it is the 30th of Sept. But Jerry the manager takes petty on me, I have no make up on, rattling on about the ants and could he please let us come in early. He looked at me and say oh why not. The cost would be $25 for the night, after that we would be in here under ROD which does not cost us. I call Mike and let him know we are ok to come to the park. He gets here and now I have to take everything out of the cabinets to get rid of the ants. I was lucky as they were only behind the mirror next to the refrig. and once they had the spray they were gone. Ajax does not work. Mike had even sprayed the top of the RV with ant killer and we still got them. We have always used the above method but these suckers really wanted in. Now I have cleaned and sprayed they aren't getting into this rig again! Valley Vista RV resort is a Sunbelt membership and takes the ROD so we were really grateful that they were just up the road.

We are St. David, AZ at the Western Horizon Park, under ROD.
 click to see pictures It is hot here forgot how bad the south was in the summer but will only be here till the 8th of Nov. Then we move onto southern CA. I have started to make my favorite pictures into Jig Saw puzzles. I have made each puzzle and put them on CD have 20 on each CD some are easy some are hard, I made them into regular pieces and jagged as will as wavy ones. Fran, my sister says I should market these as she is having so much fun doing them. The great thing about these are once you have the CD no matter where you are at you can open them and play, save and do the puzzles at your own pace. Never too lose pieces either. So I took about 160 of my photos and put 20 on each disc, will sell them for $7.00 each. And you get to see the picture that I took to make the puzzle. So you get the puzzle and the photo. WOW, a lot has happened since my last entry to
the journal, so here goes. Mike's Dad is still not doing well, he is in the Casa Adobes nursery home in Las Cruces, NM. Mike visited him every day and now that we are in St. David, AZ will go back to see him as often as he can, it is a 4 hour drive but the cost to live in the area is high. I don't know how people can afford NM as the food and everything else is high. So we decided to come to St. David to one of our parks in the ROD system. Now onto the wedding, Michael and Liz flew us out to NJ on the 17th of Sept. and he got married to Liz on the 19th. The wedding was beautiful and the bride, will just look at the pictures below.
