Get in touch with us Carol |
| November 29, 2007 |
Here it is the end of November
and almost the end of 2007! Where did the time go? We
are of course still here at Deanza RV park in Amado AZ working, it
is getting better, will start putting on Texas Holdem games next
week and hope we have a great turn out. I hope everyone is
settled for the winter and are looking forward to a great Christmas.
We had a very nice Thanksgiving, a bunch of us here at the park got
together for a pot luck the day before
Suzanne in the red shirt is the owner along with her husband Larry,
she if a lot of fun and makes working here easy. Then on Thanksgiving we went to my sister's for dinner taking along Lou & Joyce, we had a great time. Don't know yet what we will be doing on Christmas probably working since we had Thanksgiving off, don't mind as really didn't have plans. The weather here has turned cool enough to turn on the heat at night but still comfortable. With us not moving around there really is not much to say except wishing everyone we have meet over the last two years would travel this way so we can have some fun. There are no activities here at the park as there are not enough people so makes the nights long, next time we even think of camp host we will make sure it is a park that has a lot going on. Time to go to work (I work in the office taking reservations) so call come see us. There is a lot surrounding the park, Tubac is famous as an artist town, there is Nogales Mexico, and of course lots of doings in Tucson. So come on Down. Love Carol |

Thank you everyone for your
suggestions on naming KOKO (Princess Kokopelli), since I have
Kokopelli's everywhere why not one more. She is growing fast,
she is smart, knows exactly what she is not suppose to do so
continues to do it. She is walking on the leash great and is
now potty trained (only 4 accidents so far). Koko needs to
learn to sleep thru the night as she still is waking up around 1:30
and 4 to go outside but I know that will stop soon, I forgot what it
is like to have a baby around as she sure is one. We have completed one month here at the park, time sure is going slow, maybe it because there are no activities too do here. I miss having fun with all of you, and the camaraderie of meeting new people. I am going to try and put on some Texas Holdem nights just too change this, ok maybe win some money too. Took some pictures of the SUNSETS they are wonderful to see here in Amado. The other park hosts here
are great
Like us Lou and Joyce are new too Workampers, Chilia and Nancy have been here at the park for over a year. Chilia is the Assistant Manager and Nancy does outside and housekeeping. Lee works in the office as well as Chilia, me and Joyce (who also does housekeeping and takes care of the plants) the men do all of the maintence and clean up as well as housekeeping. Mike is the fix up guy as well as the other stuff. The only draw back for Mike is his shifts sometimes calls for getting up early in the mornings and he is NOT a morning person, hasn't been late yet (6AM comes too early for him) Me I don't care, love the early hours as the day is over. Hope all of you are having fun and are your final destination for the winter. Until next
week Love Carol |

Mike and I have added a new
addition to the family, she is 1 1/2 lbs. 9 weeks old and a toy
poodle.
However, we do not have a
name for her we are hoping you can help us with it. I have in
the past named all of our dogs after rose bushes. Such as our
husky was Audrey Rose after the Audrey Hepburn rose, Brandy was
named after the Brandywine Rose, Brigg was named after the Brigadoon
Rose. But with this one I have gone through all of the rose
bushes and still have not come up with a great name. Right
now we are calling her Sweetie Pie, but Mike & I still would like
to come up with an unusual name or a rose name. Please give us some
help and email Mike & Carol |
