Long Beach Thousand Trails Park 320 Willows RD. Seaview (Long Beach) WA ![]() Site 42
The sites are back ins the odd numbers are 30 amps and the even numbers are 50amps/septic. Your motor home is back to back with another, all have some grass, called grass at each site and in the overflow area is cut so short that there are stickers all over, it is not green and looks more like weeds then grass. They are 40 ft. long, not long enough for the car and tow dolly we had a site that we could put the tow dolly and the car across from us in the overflow area. There is heated swimming pool, they are building a clubhouse, so we are told, it is taking a long time as they tell us corporate is taking their time in approving the plans. This park needs better roads, there is some gravel and dirt, dust flies everywhere in the wind. Seems to be since Equity took over the Thousand Trails parks they are not putting money into them. This park could use lots of upgrades. This park looks like it was once a trailer park, by the way there is no manager and even if there one, doubt they could do much as it looks like no money is going back into this park. It's a shame, I can see that it would be a great park with good improvements. There are no activities since there is not a clubhouse, talked with several people and they are staying the 3 weeks also but feel this is one park to cross off the list. I sometimes wonder if that is what Encore, who owns the property now, wants, we are coming back after Seaside only because my sister will be here in the area otherwise I think I would look for an ROD park or something better. The Wi-FI trailer is small we tried playing pegs & Jokers there and with the 8 of us playing it took up the room. It is a small park, there is a path that leads to the beach about a 10 min. walk. Make sure if you come here, you have done all of your shopping, the closes grocery store is in Astoria, Costco is down across the bay towards Seaside, they are only 45 to 60 min. away. If you have to have something there is a small store here in Long Beach called Sids, very expensive but when you need milk. The stores around this time seem to close and open whenever they feel like it, so don't plan on going to a drug store at 6 PM as they might be closed as we found out. The town itself is not impressive, I think Lincoln City, Seaside and Cannon Beach are much better. Almost tempted to call Nell in Neskowin, and tell I am ready to come back as Activities Director.
We are told there are bears in the area and we have to have all
garbage in the cans no later then 3 PM, as they do not want any
in the cans at night for fear of the bears. | |||||||||||||||||||
