Thousand Trails RV Resort
5409 N. Darrk Lane, Bow, Washington

This park is located about 20 miles from La Conner right off of the
freeway, and right next to a large Indian Casino. Full hook
ups at some sites, we were lucky to get one as there were only 2
left. We can get our cell phone great which means good
internet, however the TV is another matter. Our on roof
satellite can't get through the trees and the antenna only picks up
about 4 station all not worth watching. That's ok the park has
a brand new swimming pool, heated and spa.
Our Site A7

All sites are 30 amps/and only about 15 have full hook ups, they are
installing more as this will be a park for full timers to purchase
there own lot in. Haven't had a chance to look around yet and
take pictures will tomorrow.

These are the sites, the sites up front close to the
clubhouse are pretty much private, the ones in the back
of the reserve are more open.

This is a large park, very well
maintained and the staff are all friendly and helpful.
You will have plenty time to relax and enjoy the great
outdoors, the swimming pool is new and heated, I would
like to see time to swim just for adults like other
parks when there is only one pool maybe the new manager
will put forth that rule. The huge clubhouse can
hold around 100 with no problem. There are plenty
of bike areas here for the kids and the baseball park is
large along with the playground. All of the
restrooms are especially clean and the laundry room has
enough washer dryers to accommodate you.
There is
limited full hook up sites, only about 10 right now, am
told there will be more in the future. They are
trying to entice full timers to stay here all year by
buying a site. Right now with nothing to do in the
area other then the casino and the closet to shopping is
Burlington or Bellingham, I don't think I would consider
here as a place to land.
Right now there are no
adult planned activities, if there were I bet more
people would be staying here at the resort. You
are so close to the Indian
Skagit Valley Casino Resort
that you can walk or have a
shuttle pick you up. We ate at the Casino's buffet
and it wasn't bad. I would not go on a Fri.-Mon.
as the prices are higher for all of the buffets. |
