to South Beach was breathtaking, the clouds and the water seemed to be doing a dance in the rain.

Arriving one day early to the resort, we were able to purchase one night so our reservations would not change.  The cost was $22  worth it ,as we both were tired and with all of the rain we wanted to set up and relax.  The sites are tight, not enough room for the tow dolly, so after much maneuvering Mike could not get the tow dolly in, so off to the office he went to put dolly in overflow site.   Really green all around the park we have had rain everyday so far lots of trees.  You can hear the Ocean from our site, can't see it.  The Coast Hwy is actually the 101 which is a scenic drive.  Sites are full hook ups with 50amps. I like the idea you seem to have privacy being your site has trees as a divider.

Here you can get TV Satellite if you find the right site, south side of park you cannot get satellite due to the trees.

There is a Super Wal-Mart close by, lots of tourist attractions, Ripley's Believe it or Not, Sea Lion Caves, and if you are lucky you can go to the state park, a couple minutes from here, and whale watch. Newport Beach is an old town with lots of history. Check the Oregon Photo page
